I was asked to print something at the end to send in my return but don't have a printer so was unable to print. And the post office is closed, how do I get the money sent

I will send the check tomorrow but will I get penalized. I set up for bank account withdrawals so I thought that is how the first payment would be taken, not a check

go online to www.irs.gov and make an online payment now. You must meet the first payment deadline to set up an installment payment  plan.

If tomorrow morning the post office finds your IRS mailing in a post office mailbox they should postmark it April 18th. But online is a safer bet.
