Short Refund

I was set to receive $2,169.00. I received my refund and after checking on the IRS website, the refund THEY showed for me minus a small balance that I owed them, should have been $2,012. TPG only sent $1,200.00????!!!!!!!! Where is the rest of the refund?????

Check the IRS refund site.  See what the IRS says they sent to you.   It is possible that the IRS reduced your refund for some reason like a mistake they caught, child support, or back taxes.  When the IRS reduces your refund, it takes a couple of weeks for them to send you a letter explaining why.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
