Sent Taxes Mail - Forgot W2

This year I could not submit my 2021 taxes electronically because my 2020 taxes were not yet processed and the AGI was missing in the system check.  I had to send via. USPS.  I did not owe anything on my 2021 return.  I have been waiting for my return and I realized I forgot to attach the W2's.   I noticed online my 2020 taxes are now in the system.  Can I resubmit electronic-?  Suggestions-?

No, do not amend or resubmit. Simply wait until the IRS requests the forms (if ever).

But the IRS owes me a couple grand.  If I wait it could be next year.  They finally accepted and posted my 2020 a few months ago as received and done.

@MiniMark - the IRS is literally 6-9 months behind processing paper returns.... so unfortunately the only thing to do is wait while the IRS catches up (they are in the process of hiring 10,000 employees per press reports).
