I filed my taxes and my fed was accepted on the 12th of feb turbo asked if i had got my stimulus and i answered that only the 1st, they asked how much i was estimated to recieve or something like that- and nothing from there and i assumed that was good and then on the 15th of feb i received a letter at my old address stating that my stimulus had been sent out via direct deposit. So my problem is that, i havent seen my stimulus and also the amount is incorrect being that i had a child the year of 2019 its missing the eip for 1 dependent. its to my understanding that i need to file this recovery rebate? So how do i go bout this now? since i already filed?? I paid for max benefits for this pls thanks! i also havent received my fed that was estimated on the 5th

If you reported a child dependent on your 2020 Federal return, TurboTax would have added the amount of stimulus for the child to your Recovery Credit.
Now I think you are saying that you did get the second stimulus, but not the full amount because of the child.
The IRS will balance the payment you did get with the amount of the Recovery Credit. So if the TurboTax program said your Recovery Credit was 1,700 (600+600+500) and you did get another 600, the IRS will send the remaining 1,100 with your refund.
This may be why your refund is being delayed so they can sort out the payments.
Look at your 1040 line 30 to see what TurboTax calculated for you for the Recovery Credit. Subtract what you received in the meantime.
I haven't received a eip at all and im puzzled as to why it says it was deposited direct deposit, i dont think it said what account it sent it to and i cant track it. I did check line 30 and it said 3,300 which is accurate unlike the 2,400- but if they sent the letter 2 days after i was accepted federal, it makes me wonder if i should be contacting anyone about it. also thanks for the help!
First check the stimulus payments the IRS has on file for you. It seems your tax return has been completed accurately based on your comments about not receiving any stimulus payments (Line 30, Form 1040).
You should wait to see if you receive your entire refund on your return, If not, there are a couple more steps you can take to resolve this.
