says taxes are complete and ready to mail

hello. on my end, it says that my taxes are complete but it’s also saying that my refund is ready to mail. i never got an email from the irs saying that my taxes were accepted or rejected. i also would like to e file them so i looked on a document with the instructions to e file and Turbo Tax won’t let me because i already filed them. just looking for some guidance! thank you!

"Ready to mail" means the returns have not been filed unless YOU put them into envelopes and took them to a mailbox. TurboTax does not mail your tax returns for you.
