Should I be concerned that my refund is not approved yet since it was accepted in January 29?

Sometimes it takes a little while to go from accepted to approved.

Same situation here (accepted Jan 29 / still sitting in accepted phase). In past years, there’s been a couple of occasions where I have received my refund direct deposited and the IRS where’s my refund tool still shows it as accepted.

Sometimes, the status is not updated by the IRS so yes you can get a refund even if the status is actually reflected as approved.
