I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

Fingers crossed we don’t see that dreadful 9001 Saturday. Seems like most of have different experiences when calling, which makes me nervous as well.

So got more info on mine today... I had 9001 message.... Mine was pulled from processing bc i havent filed n years and they r sending a letter for identity verification bc its been awhile since i filed bc i was a stay at home mom... Told i would receive lettet and to follow steps n go from there.... Has anyone been thru this?

No, I'm wondering how they tell you so much about your refund? They told me wait on letter never explained the reason why I'm getting the letter.

Trust every time u call... Different response.... So far every time ive called they been very nice... This last lady was very sweet....

Yes every time it’s something different. So I would wait the 21 days and if you haven’t seen the website change any updates then call ASAP!!

Yea its better just to wait for letter... But mine gas been pulled.... Not even processing at all apparently so waiting on this letter n go from there.... Ughhhh so aggravating

@jamrod85  my situation is similar to yours, but I was asked questions like when was the last time I filed etc. which made me think I was being verified then and there. I wasn’t told I would receive a letter.
