One inherited item in our world is an energy partnership that puts out its K-1 info through
Taxpackagesupport.com. It is supposed to be importable to Turbotax...they write this every
year. And every year (3 or 4, now), it doesn't work.
With my return open, I click import. Txt file. But in the search window, the downloaded txt icon is
gray, not black. And so, inactive.
Is there some way to ram this through on the Turbotax end? Because ever-helpful/never-works Taxpackagesuppot simply referred me to you? Is there some technique to workaround you can suggest?

Are you using Turbo Tax Online or the Desktop CD/Download program?

.txf files cannot be imported into TurboTax Online or TurboTax Business.

TurboTax CD (I'm so old, going back to 14.4K modem days, I don't fully trust downloads). But following your
link, it seems Mac users are S.O.L.
These txt files are named Turbotax.txf.txt Snipping the 'txt' doesn't do it. The Taxsupport place should put a
note somewhere stating it won't import to Mac products.

I netfiled my 2019 tax return on 26 May 2020 and rreceived a confirmation # FONBARTS
However CRA say they did not receive it ??
How did this happen with Turbotax ? - lots of confusion.
How can I resend my 2019 tax return to CRA ?
