Reject Code F8960-019-04

Was your return finally accepted after refiling a few days ago?

Reject Code F8960-019-04

Yes, it was actually accepted within 30 minutes of refiling.

Mine was accepted as well. No changes made.

Thanks all.  I just filed my previously rejected return and a half hour later it was accepted.  The IRS page of known issues, line 74, for the form 8960 says the completion date is / was 2-19-23.  After all the angst it's now proven -> TT did our taxes correctly.  The entire issue all along was the IRS checking program. Waiting for the IRS fix was a whole lot better than filing a paper return...

Reject Code F8960-019-04

My Federal Tax Return, which was rejected earlier with the reject code F8960-019-04 is now accepted thru TurboTax.

IRS Known Issues site says: Business Rules F8960-019-04 and F8960-003 were causing returns to erroneously reject and were disabled on 2/19/2023 in efile1040x_2022v5.2 Rules Sets.

It appears that there are some other problems with Form 8960 that are not fixed yet.

My return was rejected twice for the F8960 issue. After TT updated itself I refiled and there was no longer a form 8960. My return was accepted. I think TT was to blame after all.
