Can you get your refund before your direct deposit date?

That depends on where you are getting the date from. The date that the IRS shows on Where's my Refund is the date they will release the refund for direct deposit. The date on TurboTax is only and estimate, based on the fact that most refunds are issued within 21 days of the return being accepted by the IRS, and is not a guarantee.
