It’s been over 21 business days and I have not received my state tax refund as well as I cannot track it on the IRS website. Why is this?

Your state taxes are not processed by the IRS. You would need to contact your state department of revenue for assistance with your state taxes. See the link below on how to do so.

For your federal refund, if your return was accepted 21 days ago or more and you have not received an update via the Where's My Refund tool, you can follow the instructions in the following FAQ to contact the IRS for further assistance.

You cannot track a State refund on the IRS website.  You need to track your state refund on your states website.

Click on the following link, then click on your State

It state is the only one that would know why you have not received your refund.
