Refund Withheld by Intuit

Hello,

I have tried to reach a live customer support person but to no avail. The automated system directs me to contact the IRS about my refund status and ends the call. 

I have correspondence with the IRS, who said they deposited my tax refund to GREEN DOT BANK, account number [phone number removed]. This is an Intuit partner account. 

I selected to pay my TurboTax fees via my federal tax refund. The amount due was $262 plus tax. Order number Order #[removed]. I should have about another $300+ deposited in my account but it never arrived.

Why is Intuit withholding my refund? How do I receive the withheld payment from Intuit?

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.
