My taxes were filed on February 10, 2022 without issue and accepted by the IRS. I have spoken with the IRS who advised that they paid the full amount that I was quoted by TurboTax of $2,067 minus that standard TurboTax fee to file. The issue is that I only received $574.25. I want to know why TurboTax collected $1,492.75 (1/3) of my entire refund without explanation and shown at check out like the normal fee? Furthermore, I was sent a tiktok showing a viral video of this exact samething happening to THOUSANDS of other people.
To clarify, I did NOT agree to this absurd amount of money being taken from my account and I expect to be compensated for the missing $1,492.75

EDIT: missing 2/3 of my entire tax credit. Not 1/3.
If you used refund processing to pay for your TurboTax fees and have any issues with the amount deposited to you, you must contact TPG, the company responsible for depositing your refund after removing TurboTax fees. For contact information, please click here.
Why do I have to contact a corporation or bank that I have never had business with? I filed with TurboTax and YOUR bank stole funds? I want turbotax to fix my issues or I’ll be sharing this on social media accounts and joining the class action Lawsuit.
it’s ridiculous that we have to go through this and all we get is a half ass reply to another dead end. I can promise you, I won’t be using you guys in the future.
TPG / SBTPG is the company used to collect the fees for TT.
The truth is if any error no matter who is responsible ( you, your bank, or SBTPG ) it is going to take real patience to get your money back. If i were you, I wouldn't spend any of what they gave you. Ive seen claims that if you actually access and use the money they will claim that is all you were odd since that's all you took. Idk though, I have yet to see a dime. They are using the " checks in the mail" runaround scheme on me. The have a few less than savory tactics.
