Why can't I select "refund by mail" as an option?

Did you decide to pay any TurboTax fees with your return?

Refund by mail?

If you chose to pay TurboTax fees from your return, the option to file by mail will not be available. You must go back and pay for the program with your credit card then the option to file by mail will become available to you.
