Do I put this refund on my 2022 return or wait and put it on 2023 return?

What refund are you referring to? A state refund? Whatever it was, if you did not receive it in 2022 you do not enter it on a 2022 return.

Thank you. It was my fed refund for 2021 which had still not arrived.
