Hello,
I received a form 1099B in late March after I filed my tax return. I was surprised to get it because it is from an account with a small amount of GE stock that sold in 2021. The amount of shares sold is .001 and the proceeds on the 1099B is $0 zero dollars, with a cost basis of $0.16 (16 cents).
Do I need to amend my tax return now?
As I mentioned I sold all of the shares in 2021, so I am surprised i received this 1099B.
Thanks!

There is no need to amend a tax return based on the minimal amounts involved.
Thanks for your help, I thought as much but wanted to be sure.
Thanks again!
