Receive refund and cancel credit to next years taxes

Please follow the steps below to cancel applying your 2016 refund to 2017 taxes. 

1) Click on the State Taxes tab

2) Click Edit to the right of your state return (Utah)

3) Proceed through the interview until you come to the question: Do you want to apply all or part of your 2016 refund to 2017's taxes? Select Yes. 

4) On the next page delete the amount in the amount to apply box and click continue. You will see your refund come back to you in the meter. 

5) You can go back through the interview again and select No to step 3 above.
