Tax Year Prior to 2020: Will my stimulus check get deposited in my turbo tax prepaid card account ??

I think that this will be the last year I use TurboTax!! They cannot give us answers and watch those of us that chose to get the debit cards get our relief checks in the mail 5 months from now instead of on our cards.

Just so Turbo is aware I will never use a turbo card again because of this going on. Especially in a time like this no one should be out in limbo how there payment would be received. It sounds like no one knows and I will have to use the IRS link on the 16th to fix which you can just state. Anyone else looking to update just use the IRS website these people are useless.

Turbotax is a third party company and if they can get a cut of our stimulus package they not allowing us to use they cards no matter if you did use them to get your tax refund and that's that it makes no since they scammed people into getting the card by saying they can get a loan but half was not even approved for the loan so now everyone stuck with these turbo cards that good for nothing

The only people that are getting their stimulus money now are the lower income.

20-30K Next week

30-40K week after and so on.

The only people that should be concerned on this chat are  the lower income earners. Anybody who’s making a household income of $60,000 more we have a couple weeks to figure things out. Everyone else is kind of screwed in regards to getting the money on their TT card.

RIP to turbo tax 😂 I've been more than understanding during these harsh times and I've used turbo tax since 2011 and even recommended them. But now seeing how customers are being treated I'll carry mine and my familys business else where!

WRONG ... the direct deposits going out now are to all the taxpayers  of any income status who have DD info on file currently.  

Then the checks that will go out later will be in income order from least to most ...

According to The Washington Post, which has reviewed a timetable from the IRS:

“If we if have your [bank] information you’ll get it within two weeks,” Mnuchin said.

• “Social Security, you’ll get it very quickly after that.
• If we don’t have your information you’ll have a simple web portal, we’ll upload it.
• If we don’t have that, we’ll send you checks in the mail.”

If there is no account information, stimulus checks first will be sent to taxpayers with the lowest income:

• April 24: Less than $10,000
• May 1: $10,001 - $20,000
• May 8 : $20,001 -$30,000
• May 15: $30,001 - $40,000
• May - September: checks sent in order from lowest income to highest income based on 2018 or 2019 tax information
• September 4: remaining checks sent
