Will my stimulus check be direct deposited onto my TurboTax card?

Hello,

Turbotax you guys are so wrong for this. You never once explained to us that Santa Barbara bank is a fraud bank. Everyone if you received the loan from your taxes and was forced to get the TurboTax card, then you will not get your money deposited. I spoke with Santa Barbara bank on yesterday and the guy stated IRS is keeping them out the loop of sending our money to them to be deposited to our account. I asked why and he could not give an direct answer. TurboTax if I find out that IRS send my deposit to your bank and you guys are trying to keep the money. I will report you to the Feds. Guys be careful with this, we won’t know for sure about our money until IRS open up the site to check. Hope this help. Santa Barbara Tax bank is a fraud , this is the bank TurboTax used for the loan

If you had TurboTax fees paid from your federal tax refund and you provided a bank routing and account number on your federal tax return for direct deposit, then your stimulus payment will be direct deposited into the same account.

If you had TurboTax fees paid from your federal tax refund and you selected to have your federal tax refund direct deposited into the Turbo Visa card, then your stimulus payment will be direct deposited on the Turbo Visa card.

My card was through Civista Bank not a Santa Barbara bank. I don't know what is going to actually happen, Turbo Tax doesn't care enough about us, their current customers, to give a definitive answer. All I know for sure is I am so done with Turbo Tax. I have gone through them for 9 years, but I will NEVER use them again. I hope they lose enough customers that they go bankrupt.

This is what TurboTax person stated in 2019, hope this help.

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

Fraud since day 1.. they lied to me about approval.. kept telling me it was coming..that the only reason I used their card n not my bank account .. messed up my state and now my stimulus.. I did not get any fees taking out and never got an advanced yall messed up n tried to cover it up...  I did my taxes with them last and this year. Along with 6 other peoples taxes in my family and 2 friends.. I received it on the turbo card this year only because when I started them they said i was eligible for a 2000 early refund.. i needed it because my 18 year old son passed away and i had to pay for the funeral and luncheon. It would not let me use my account. My federal was rejected for something. I dont remember what I fixed it right away resent.. called 2 days 3 days and the day of the funeral.. was told it would be there.. never received it .. called the following Monday after grieving n just laying bed person says oh theres a 3rd party that has to approve u after we approve you... them why did it say j was approved and receiving it.. ok federal came through a couple weeks later and I was able to get my sons ashes.. I was so mad at turbo tax... next.. everybody was getting their state.. it said It should be deposited 3/5 it never was finally a papercheck 3 weeks later with an explanation that nj didnt recognize the account as mine or it was an international account.. so I'm guessing again that because of turbo taxes lies and mistakes irs will reject the turbo tax card like state did n I'm gonna have to wait.. because my life has been a nightmare since January.. I will never use turbo tax again, my child's funeral broke me and had you not had lied to me my account would have been on their n I'd have the money to pay my bills.. instead I have to wait a couple weeks for a paper check.. km gonna be pissed and use all my resources across every thread to get across to America not to use this service ever again.

ITS EXTREMELY SAD THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS NO IDEA UF THE STIMULUS PAYMENT WILL GO TO THE TURBOTAX CARD OR NOT. THIS SHOULD BE S PRIORITY I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT 2020FILING YEAR YOU WILL LOSE THOUSANDS IF CUSTOMERS YOU HAVE DEFINITELY LOST MY BUSINESS IN 2020, AND NIT JUST BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION. THE FACT THAT YOU LIE ABOUT YOUR SERVICE BEING FREE US THE SECOND REASON!!!
