@Jason707 Where did u get this info from?
At least my email stated "CA_Itemized - We've identified a potential issue in your California return due to an error in our software." So for me, appears to be software error on California Itemized deductions. Going to give it a go to fix and refile.
I also had the same thing. I received an email that my CA taxes were rejected and I just refiled them. Now I wait the 24-48 hrs to see if they will be accepted or rejected.
3:19pm - CA return rejected
5:22pm - CA return received by turbo tax (my re-submission)
Now I wait for - CA return forwarded to CA state
@pajjarito
Go to your TT e-file dashboard - Your tax returns & documents - Select 2020 - Then click on "View efile details".
Same here with rejection notice! I did go back and enter expenses for Tax prep, another review and hit the re-file! No other changes or errors reported! We'll see how goes.......
Got "reject" email an hour ago and l logged in, resubmitted it without changing anything (softwre error only?) and now the CA tax return status is pending again, hopefully, it will be accepted soon.
Got my notification that I was rejected from my California state taxes. So I've resubmitted at about 4:00 p.m. today 2/18. I am currently pending and I been given the date February 20th for acceptance. I hope this is over soon
Yeah I went through it. It says a software error on their end, then i went to turbotax website, saying CA_Itemize error. It says there may be some credit you can file for more refund. I don’t have any of those. So i tried refile. Then got rejected in 30min and the email was exactly same wording. The 3rd try is still pending.
Oh goodness! Keep us updated
Same here. I’m due a refund for CA but my e-file has been rejected TWICE despite the fact that I used the TurboTax feature to fix the issue. Not sure what to do now.
I tried calling no human available!
good luck
6:40 pm return accepted finally
6:43 pm. Finally accepted...
