Why is my colorado state still pending

Yep, got an email today that my Colorado State refund was accepted. 

I filed using TurboTax on 2/13/24.  As expected, TurboTax didn't do anything wrong; the State simply had a delay.

Agree with you GoldenJourney!  No fault with TurboTax.  This delay was all inspired and caused by the Colorado Department of Revenue.  It's just too bad both parties were not communicating better about what was causing the delay so we all could have managed our expectations differently.

Mine was accepted today. Colorado is behind on a lot of things this year. I finally got my property tax statement yesterday, 2/20. First half payment due in 9 days if I want to split it up. Other Colorado government offices I deal with at work are also backed up due to changes. I guess they are trying, but this wasn't on TurboTax. They did their job.

My return was accepted today!

I too received an accepted update today however, with the Colorado revenue office it still shows it hasn’t been received. Super strange.

Wait till tomorrow morning. Colorado as well as Federal only update their portal once a day.

I did my return on Feb. 1st and it was accepted today. Just to keep everyone updated. If you did your taxes around that time you should be getting an acceptance notices soon.

Usually the state would refund me within a week or two in the past. This year they are being really slow.

I submitted my return on Feb. 16th and it was accepted today through Turbo Tax via a text message and in the software program. The CO IRS website has not updated my return. One has to wonder why the discrepancy? Perhaps this update is done once a day around midnight like many banks and institutions.

Thank you for today…I called and talked with a customer service staff and they looked into my pending status since 2/2/2024….I was told to allow the State of Colorado one more week.  Within minutes of ending my call my tax return was accepted by the state.

It's not a turbo tax thing.. it's a Colorado thing.. it's the 21st and I filed 14 days ago.. and it's still pending, and I'm using a different software than turbo tax

My status was changed from Pending to Accepted on 2/20/23 - BUT now Colorado's online forms show they've reduced our TABOR refund from $1600 to $800, despite the fact my husband and I filed jointly. 

If I wasn't angry before, I sure am now.
