Why has my return not accepted yet by the IRS ?

The IRS will not start accepting 2021 returns until Jan 24.  Please be patient.

Why has my return not accepted yet by the IRS ?

Sometime after January 24 you will get an email to tell you whether your e-file has been accepted or rejected.
