Why did I not get my refund in 5 days like what I was told by doing turbo tax

Never heard of someone getting their refund in 5 days.  The IRS  (& State) controls when a refund is issued. Most refunds are issued within 21 days from the time the IRS receives your return to the time they approve your refund. Each State differs when they issue refunds.

When you file the return, it will be accepted or rejected in about 24-48 hours. 

Once it has been accepted, it can take up to 21 days for the return to process. Once processed, the refund will be deposited to your account.
