This is mainly a user community forum, but we can tell you how to check on things.   Are you expecting both state and Federal refunds?  They come separately.   If so, which one did you receive?

I received federal. No state

You said "no state."    I don't know if that means you haven't received a state refund you are expecting, or if it means that you didn't have to file a state return at all.  If you are getting both Federal and state refunds, they come at separate times.   Some states issue refunds fairly quickly, but many states can take a long time--even several weeks--as they crack down on fraudulent returns.   We can tell you how to check on and track a state refund, if you are expecting one.

As for the Federal refund you did receive:

Compare the amount of Federal refund you received by looking at your actual Federal return, Form 1040, Line 21a.    Is your Federal refund amount received different by "$1337" from the amount on Form 1040, Line 21a?   i.e., Did the IRS reduce your refund?    Or was the difference of $1337 you mentioned accounted for by a state refund you haven't yet received (if applicable)?

Also, if you had any fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund, the fees would be subtracted plus a $40 service fee ($45 for California filers) and possible sales tax.    But fees would certainly not explain a $1337 difference.

Or did you receive a cash advance of part of your refund?

If the IRS reduced your refund, they should send you a letter in about 3 weeks explaining why.  Or we can tell you how to phone the IRS to speak to a live agent to see if they can give you any information prior to the letter.    Also, you might check IRS "Where's My Refund", if you haven't already, to see if there is any message that might explain the difference.
