The refund amount is shown on line 20 of form 1040. The IRS can make adjustments to that amount for errors or for such things as offsets. You can track your refund at the IRS tracking site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

i looked there there's nothing not a 0 or any thing just blank and i need the amount to track it . so where can i find it call the irs?
If there is no amount on line 20, then look on line 23. Line 23 is the amount you owe and you are not getting a refund. You have until July 15, 2020 to pay taxes owed.
i set up one of those one time automatic payments just for the state an federal tax. i do not have any other taxes do i not get my refund until that goes though? could that be why?
