What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

I got a 4 digit pin to call later but I was on hold to speak with intake on got disconnected. I’m at work so I’m going to call as soon as I get home

How do I find out if ssa revived my w2 from my employer. Cuz my old owner said he mail all my stuff out so it might be that ssa hasn’t reported it yet

@Amanda123 I called right at 7am est and had a 2 min wait to talk to someone then I waited an hr to talk to intake and was on the phone for about a half hr while he put everything in system and told me that my review is only cause my 2 employers hasn’t shown up so they can’t verify so he approved me and said someone will call me within 10 days and should be approved after they request my stuff to fax over and shouldn’t have anymore problems. He did say it can slow the process of the review down. Which is whatever just get me my stuff

He also said the latest I would revive my refund now if it took the whole time is I would get it April 24th. A day earlier then the 45 day review lol. But said I will prolly get it in the next week. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m hoping to hear from the advocate in the next couple of days. And hope next week to get refund. It’s funny how everyone is having same problem with irs telling us that they r not recieving or w2s from our employers. But I went to my previous employers and they showed certified papers showing it was certified delivery and they received it. So I’m guessing it’s screwed up and did something with all that mail and now we suffer

So what exactly does intake do for you if you still have to wait a couple of days for an advocate to call you?

An intake takes ur info and either approves u to see an advocate or disapproves u. They r their so not everyone is calling an bugging advocates. He told me that they r a extremely busy right now
