What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

The processing date which is the one feb 25th is when they start processing, the other dates don’t look at( I did so much research lol) those codes could mean so many diff things . But I’ll keep u guys posted too

Right! My processing date says March 4. So hope that’s when it process to my refund lol

Not necessarily. Cause I looked at last yrs transcript and it has the process date of the 26th of feb. but I got my return 4 days earlier. So u can get it earlier. Just keep ur eyes open.

Not always. Cause I looked at last yrs and it said it was processing on the 26th and I got it on the 22nd. But we should have it next week hopefully

I have spoken with the irs and I am livid. So basically I am still under review because my employer didn’t send one of my
W2 forms. So basically I grossed 24000 last year and they only reporting 14000 it is very frustrating because SSA is reflecting the same thing. And my ex employer is lost as to what is being done or needs to be done

had this same problem filed january 27th accepted january 28th. Irs website says delayed process take action code. Here we are today 2/26 same message so i called this morning and the gentlemen told me im under 45 day review starting mar. 4 and as he looked further into told me its because my job didnt send in my w2 they suppsely dont have a copy of w2 on file so looks like im claiming i guess extra money. I dont understand that at all so now i contacted job and they say they have sent in everything and cant do nothing more on there end. This crap is so frustrating

Ss4911 sounds like ur employer needs to send u a corrected w2 or they messed up and hit 1 instead of 2. I would call ur employer. I’m not even bothering to call the irs. Cause I know they r gonna day the same thing and say they don’t have my w2 from my employer. Just a waste of time.

I finally received transcripts that were not blank! They have codes 150, 766, 768 and 570 anyone know what these codes mean? I have a cycle code of 20190605 and a processing date if 2/25 but on WMR I’m stuck in 1541

I been emailing my employer all morning and they saying they they can send me a w2 but they have done everything on their end. The irs said only two of my employers sent information. Like I’m so confused fr. I’m not calling no more at all

I got all those same codes. They are for dependents saying ur getting money. If u look at ur transcript it tells u next to the code what they mean. Cause if u claim kids or whatever u should have same codes as last year. As I have the same codes as last year. And the date is when they started processing ur return
