What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

When did you file? Who "advised" you? It's impossible to get through to IRS and no one else can tell people any "details" about their return status.

The one ending in 1040. Dont put social security number in.  Use your employee Identification number.

that's the refund date given? Or the date their supposed to correct? And I was assuming it was software issue as w2 said nothing but tt when filed shows that on my files. Amount added to line 30.

That's your return date? The 26th or that's when they work on yours? And how did you find this date out. I spoke with them back in March and they said 10 weeks from date filed which was accepted on the 13th of February.  Frustrating.

Try that 1040 number. Go through all the automated bs and then when asked to put in social security number dont. Put in your employee or employer Identification number.  You will get through.

If my federal return was accepted, does my state return being rejected have anything to do with me getting my refund?  When I was redirected to fix the state return, I got a blurb saying if I was just filing to get the stimulus then there was nothing else I needed to do.  My estimated date was 04/07.  WMR says "still being processed".

Frustrating,The IRS accepted my return on 2/12 said, Still being processed..then a month later had to verify,now it shows we have received your return,and it is being processed..good sign?

Yeah, I've been waiting since Feb 26, I called 3 weeks ago and they told me the same thing, that they have 10 weeks to issue

Same here..i filed march 7th and mine still says "being processed" . i have still not even received my 3rd stimulus check and im on social security.

I am officially convinced the IRS has no clue what they are talking about. I filed on February 12 20 days later my message on WMR changed to still processing a date will be provided when available with no tax topic as of April 7 all the sudden I had a tax topic of 152 with the same message still processing a date will be provided when available no status bar.. Then suddenly today my refund was in my account. I even went on to check where is my refund again and still says the same message doesn’t even show processed or approved. When I called about two weeks ago and finally got through to someone he told me that there was an error with my refund and then it would be 10 weeks. Ultimately there was no error the amount was the same everything was fine it was just delayed for whatever reason. Probably will never know what that reason really was
