What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I'm still waiting on my federal and stimulus also and I am getting no information on anything.

I'm in the same boat. It still says it's still being processed. No information about any of this. I had to move out of my house and in with my sister had no money to pay my rent!

I receive ssdi and still haven't received my stemles refund from the IRS I would like to know when I will getting it. And that tool from the IRS get my payment is not working right.

I'm not getting any answers regarding the "still processing" I have come to the conclusion they are not processing any of our returns.  Also just read we have until this Wednesday(May 13)  to input out direct deposit information but the "Get My Payment" tool still doesn't work for a lot of us.  How can they put a deadline if they don't have everyone's information input into the system so we can update our information.  I am beyond pissed.  Now they are even talking about another stimulus but millions of us haven't even gotten the first one or tax refunds.  It's BS and because they can make the claim "millions have gotten their checks" it has been a success.  Remember this at the Polls in NOVEMBER my friends.

I filed in March and my return was accepted on 3/28. At first the where's my refund tool was showing like normal and then it changed to the generic it's still being processed message with no progress bars and a date will be provided when available. My return is still in limbo somewhere, processing. But I DID receive my stimulus DD to the account I used for both my 2018/2019 returns. So it would seem that the return still processing isn't an issue for receiving stimulus in some cases. I feel like the taxes are never coming at this point. Maybe by the end of summer? It's ridiculous.

The TAC's, Tax Assistant Centers. Goggle Tax Payer Advocate near me. You'll be directed to their website. Click on your state and the rest is easy. Some centers you can call, some you have to fax a letter. In South Florida, you need to call, leave a message, and then they're supposed to call you back the next day. We'll see. I"m going to leave a message AND fax a letter. Good luck and let the community know if you find out any other information along the way.  A tiny bit of updated or new info is better than a **bleep** ton of information that is weeks old and of no use.
