Don't worry, the IRS will balance it out when they review your return.
The IRS will send you a smaller refund or a letter concerning tax owed depending on your circumstance.
IF YOU NOW OWE TAX, be sure to get that tax paid by April 15th.
You don't get taxed on the stimulus, but if the recovery credit (1040 line 30) caused you to go from owing tax to getting a refund, you now will need to pay that tax.
Let's say you owed 100 tax, but were eligible for a 600 second stimulus, so your return showed a 500 refund. Now that you got the 600 on the card, you will need to pay the 100 tax.
