I still don't understand the tpg deposit into my account. My question is who's money is it I don't want to spend it then have to pay it back that would be my luck.

That should be your federal refund after the Turbo Tax fees are taken out. Plus there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) to use that service. If you think the deposit is not the right amount you have to ask the IRS. They might have adjusted your return.
