tax refund

I filed my 2019 tax refund. I received a letter stating I was being audited and needed  to send in more information. It has been over thirty days since I received any information from the IRS.  I need to know what is going on and what do i need to do. I filed my taxes in February the IRS closed and reopened May 17th I was told to wait thirty days and contact them. It is July 7th.

Contact the IRS at the number provided on the letter that was sent to you.  The IRS is the only place where you can get that sort of update.
