State Return direct deposit

I e-file the fed, but print the state because Oklahoma has such a small return anyway.  However, none of the state return has the direct deposit information transferred to it.  And since there are bar codes printed on the forms, I have never gotten my state refund by direct deposit.  Why does this not transfer?
