If Turbotax puts out an update to the program and I have already completed my taxes with Turbotax, filed and saved my return, is the return I saved updated as well? The update could affect the accuracy of the return I filed.

It has no affect on what was filed. Most updates just add new forms. If you needed the form you could not have filed without it.
