Since your return has been accepted, only the IRS would know when you will receive your refund. To find out where your refund is, you can track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status. The IRS will issue your refund when your return is approved.
I’m going through the same thing, nothing has been updated in the irs website for where’s my refund, nor is there anyone answering calls, the irs recording states so. How can we find out out what’s going on??? It’s been 2-1/2 months since taxes were accepted. These are hard times, and the money is needed.
@tulivaldes1218 The only choice we have at this time is to wait until the IRS resumes the normal operations of processing and issuing refunds. To stay up to date, regularly check the "Where's My Refund?" tool.
