Tax return for state and federal completed and filed last night. Received text this morning that each was accepted and to check email for a confirmation message. 12 hours later I still don't have an email at all.
How long does it take to get email that returns have been accepted?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You should have already received the email. The email may have gone to your SPAM (JUNK) folder.
Since you received the text that your returns were accepted, then your returns are in the hands of the IRS & State to be processed & then refund approved.
You can checked the IRS website Where's My Refund for your Federal information?
If you have a State refund, click on the following link, then click on your State

I filed on 02/29 and it was accepted that same day by the IRS. However, although email is correct and has been verified, I STILL haven't received the email saying my taxes were approved. Although, when I log in to Turbo tax, it says right up at the top that it was accepted and gives me an estimated date of when I should receive my refund but the process bar isn't completely filled in and I can't find my refund status anywhere. Why haven't I received that email? It's been days now
It will usually take about 21 days from the date of acceptance, not the date you first filed.
You can track your refund through Where's My Refund.
Please refer to the information below.
