I filed on Feb 8th, got approved the same day by the IRS. I created a Credit Karma Money Spend account and linked the direct deposit information to that, because it claimed I could get my return up to 5 days earlier.

Well it's now 3/6 and I still haven't received my refund.. a friend of mine who filed the same day, already got his return via Chime last week. Is there any actual reason for this? Is this a Credit Karma issue? Or an IRS issue. The "Where's My Refund" tool on IRS website, does not work for me, and claims my refund cannot be traced

@TheDarkConduit You could not have been approved by the IRS the same day as you filed. The IRS goal is 21 days, but it can take longer.  In fact, they are still processing millions of 2020 tax returns.
