I filed my return on February the 1st it was accepted on February the 12th I also had to claim the recovery rebate credit and I still have not received my return the where’s my refund app doesn’t even show the bar anymore every time I check it.. it says my refund is still processing and a refund date will be provided when available is there anyone else having this issue

I am in the same boat as you. Refund got accepted on 2/15/2021 and no federal refund but I got my state fine. Tried to call irs which is impossible to do because they don’t answer even if you get through to them . I need my federal to pay off bills and get a vehicle because ours is not in the best shape .

I was an early filer, filed with turbo tax in January as soon as it opened up to do so. My state and federal taxes were accepted 2/10/21. Irs website still says processesing as of now 4/9/21. I did receive a letter in the mail stating that my tax info did not show the marketplace insurance I had for a month. But turbo tax did input my job insurance because it was incorporated with the w2 I added. So I had to fill those papers out and fax them back. I still haven't heard anything and that was a month ago. Turbo tax now wants their money for payment for their "great" work of not getting my tax return money to me, of $140. So I have to pay out of my very shallow almost non existent pockets for turbo tax service and I didnt even get my tax return back. WTF.

I received a message on February 26 telling my my return was accepted and pending. As of today , April 4, it is still Pending. Is there any way I can find out why it is not making any progress? I'm getting concerned. So far I have not been able to contact anyone at TurboTax of the IRS. Keep getting the run around on the phone, ending up with the same information that it is "Pending." Is anyone else having this problem.

Mine says on wmr site is taxes are still being processed and a refund date will be given when available. Talked to irs and they said 10 wks. Well it will be 10 on the 18th of April and still waiting.....I got on irs site and requested a tax transcript which said should be coming in 5-10 days but ig we'll see. Hurry up and wait. 🤬🤬

Be patient - a whole lot of people are experiencing the same issue.

If you filed your 2020 taxes and haven't received your refund, your experience is very common - the IRS is encountering major delays in processing 2020 tax returns, and is almost impossible to reach by phone.

Everything the IRS has to say about refunds is at Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions. If you read this carefully, you will see they are not making any promises.

The IRS Where’s My Refund? site is still the best first place to go for information.

Why is this happening? Tax season (normally Jan 1 - Apr 15) is the busiest time of the year for the IRS. This year, they have also had to deal with major changes in the tax law, including ones that were passed retroactively in the past two weeks. They are also struggling with the same COVID workplace and workforce issues the rest of the country has encountered.

Not really sure on what's going on as IRS is stating they still dont have the refund/taxes. turbo tax gave me the number of the conformation and they can't find it. It took two days to get a hold of them. Furthermore, after reviewing my return turbo tax put 1800 on line 30 which put a hard hold on my return. I never put anything on that line in fact, there wasn't an option to even put anything on that line. I bet that's what's going on is now there looking into that. I am very frustrated at this point as i am not getting any answer's to my questions to top that the number turbo tax gave me dosn't match or they can't find it. To top it all, it takes a very long time to get a hold of the IRS. when where owed money there slow. when we owe money there at our door asking for money. I did my taxes on 2/21 it's now 4/14. I have never had to wait this long.

Hi same thing here. I efiled my tax returns it was accepted on March 3,2021.

I still have not gotten my refund or any notices regarding my tax return.

When i check where is my refund I keep getting my refund is being processed and the irs will give me a a date when they have one.

Its been about 6 weeks and still nothing on my return.

has anybody found out anything ??

Yes I filed and accepted on March 14th, 2021 and it still says processing and I have Not received my federal refund. However I did receive my state refund within the week. I have tried calling IRS and that is a waste of time. Will I ever get my refund or is it just stuck in space???

HI. Yes. I found that turbo taxe messed up and pointed the finger at irs. This wasn't an irs problem but the fact that turbo tax put 1800 on a line that i never approved. The irs put a hard hold for about 90 days and re-did the taxes. I went from 2200 refund to 401 refund. I will be using a different tax return place next year. Turbo tax claimed that i had a child tax during covid. I would check your paper work again and see if they did this. If they did this is way it's taking a very long time. It would be on Line 30. should be 0 not 1800 i never put anything in that line and to top turbo tax blamed the slow on covid which they should of know this.

Thank you for sharing this! I am going to check mine. I finally got in contact with the IRS and they stated it was an error on my taxes. I have never had a problem and I run it through Turbo Tax verification. This seems to be my last year with Turbo Tax.
