Hi I see you are a specialist. I'm over my 21 days do you know any no one is receiving there money is this website a scam that took our money?? I've always received my money way faster. I can't even find my info on IRS. I finished filing them idk what's going on

Refund

I have used turbotax for the past 4yrs now never had an issue.    I am also currently waiting on my refund.  Its usually 21 days from being accepted.  But the earned income credit has a delay mid to late February. I have been reading on here that Feb22 (sat ) people should start seeing their returns

Refund

How do I check my expected refund date on here?

Refund

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status -
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's -
https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions

Funny, I was reading your post thinking 🤔 "I don't remember writing that " 🤣 My situation mirrors yours verbatim. I've read ddd could be between 2/22 & 3/2 for the early filers w/ EIC. Until then I'll be #ImpatientlyWaiting  😒

Thank you Critter for the clear grammatical explanation of what’s going on with Federal/State tax refunds. I guess the prolonged process has everyone on edge but I now understand. I’ve had the same issue as most and I didn’t read a post where someone admitted to filing EITC/the other one lol but I did so now I can stop checking every morning because it’s only updated once overnight and just wait until after the 22nd of February. I filed February 3rd and compared to previous taxes within 2 weeks I had a refund date but new year new process I suppose. #itiswhatitis The government won’t speed things up for us no matter how bad we need it. Hopefully by next week we are surprised with Direct Deposit Dates!!!!

If they accepted it on 1/22/20, it has not  been over 21 days. Actually,  today is about the 20th day because you don't count weekends or holidays; this past Monday was a holiday. Next, IRS usually updates the where's my refund only once a week on Wednesday. IRS generally makes return deposits on Wednesday's and Friday's. Also, sometimes the app says it is still processing but the refund is already in your account. Finally, the IRS did state that if you are filing earned income credit or child care credit you may not receive your refund until the first week of March but in the past it would come at the end of February.

Refund

okay so I filed on 1/27 accepted 1/28 was on path 2 weeks then went to being processed

have been here since 2/15 haven't moved transcript said processing date 2/17 had everything but the 846 code no letters stating a problem when should I call??  cycle code 05052020

Refund

I’m having the same issue got my state but my federal is still saying processing and it’s been over 21 days

Refund

Accepted 1/27...still stuck on "Received and still processing" Not a EIC/ACTC.

Received state refund 2 weeks ago.

The IRS is a mess.

Just another example of the government screening up whatever they touch.
