With the new tax laws and updates, the IRS is taking every precaution to ensure each tax return is process correctly and fully. The IRS does not process returns in first in first out batches. They are processed individually and at different times. There's no way to know when the IRS will update to refund approved. Until the IRS starts processing your tax return on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund? tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status
Is there a maximum income for payment of the $1200 check stimulus. Who is exempt from receiving the stimulus check$
Yes, there are income limitations. See the information from the IRS below:
Who is eligible for the economic impact payment?
Tax filers with adjusted gross income up to $75,000 for individuals and up to $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns will receive the full payment. For filers with income above those amounts, the payment amount is reduced by $5 for each $100 above the $75,000/$150,000 thresholds. Single filers with income exceeding $99,000 and $198,000 for joint filers with no children are not eligible.
Social Security recipients and railroad retirees who are otherwise not required to file a tax return are also eligible and will not be required to file a return.
Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for either 2019 or 2018 will automatically receive an economic impact payment of up to $1,200 for individuals or $2,400 for married couples and up to $500 for each qualifying child.
If you fall out of these requirements, you would be exempt from receiving the payment.
How do i change my direct deposit info
If you have already filed your return, you are not able to make any changes. If your return happens to get rejected, you can update your bank account before re-submitting your return as well as update the issue that caused the rejection.
If you haven't filed yet, you can still add your bank account info for direct deposit.
Good Luck to you, I’ve been since Jan 27 still waiting, Turbo tax says nothing to do with them... Ill never file with them again.... seems like only Turbo tax has this issues year. After year
