Hello my refund was short for 6000 when I called the irs they said there was a error on form 8812 the ctc form! Now I know there was no error and I know I owe no offsets.. I believe maybe this was a turbo tax problem. Someone help me.

If the IRS reduced the refund for an issue with the CTC then you need to review the amount you got in advance, the amount of the advance you entered in the program and the amount of the CTC on the return. The IRS will send you a letter of explanation in a couple of weeks and once you know exactly what they are disagreeing with you can plan your response.
I suggest you look at your Schedule 8812.
What did you report as being received as Advanced Child Tax Credit Payments?
Did you enter BOTH what you AND your wife received TOGETHER?
Does the number you enter match the total of the amounts in both letters you and your spouse each received?
How many children do you claim?
How much did you receive as Advance Payments?
There have been no reported issues concerning TurboTax and Schedule 8812.
