I have received two statements from IRS about my refund. One states that my deposit of $472 was deposited on May 11, 2022. This is the form from Check when to expect refund.
The next form is dated May 16, 2022 FORM CP12. Adjusted refund. It explains the refund but does not address the deposit. In fact the last statement says "If you haven't received a refund for $472.00, you should receive it within 4-6 weeks as long as you don't owe other tax or debts.
The problem is finding out if in fact the deposit was made and if so where is it?

PS: I have been trying to contact IRS but keep getting a message to call the next day or go online which either has not helped.
@LWB6143 - THe IRS will only be able to tell you that they sent it and the method (check, direct deposit, etc.); whether it was received it really on you.....
if you were set up for direct deposit, did you check you bank account transactions since May 11??
if you were not set up for direct deposit, then it should arrive via mail....
NOTE: If you did NOT use the option to pay TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, then the rest of this comment will not apply to you. If you DID choose that fee payment method, then here's how that works.
If you had any TurboTax product fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund, the IRS sends the funds to an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted. Then that intermediary bank takes out the fees and would send the rest of the funds to your bank account (or card) in a second direct deposit. The company that handles that payment and deposit method is SBTPG (aka TPG or Tax Products Group.)
If you DID use that service to pay TurboTax fees, and if the IRS has sent the deposit, here's how you can check at SBTPG's website using the SBTPG refund lookup tool. Choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/
If you did use that service and need to contact SBTPG, they also have a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours. Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.
