People with cycle code 20200705 and processing date 03/2 POST HERE!!! EITC/ACTC/and PATHers

@irish1215 570 code is a hold/freeze of the refund. notice should be sent if it's for verification. Im on the same boat and waiting for this so called notice. When you call IRS, press 1 for english, 2 for personal refund and 3 for questions. when it tells you to enter SS don't enter it, and it will transfer you. I called they told me im on some random review and a notice will be sent if i need further verification. but another agent told me something completely different. I think they are telling everyone this so dont even bother. 

I agree I have the same codes and date as well, I guess we just wait until 3/2 and hopefully we can all be relieved from this mess. I filed back on 1/27 so this is been a nice long wait.

FINALLY AN UPDATE!

I filed 1/27 and I am a PATHer. I had the code 570 on there for 3 weeks with no other code below it. I have processing date of 3/2/2020 and cycle code 05072020. I just checked my transcripts and FINALLY have the 571 code after 570 (to release the hold/freeze) followed by the 846 refund issued code for 3/4/2020! WMR has not yet updated but I know that won’t be until tomorrow or a later day. 

I am also where you are, though mine isn’t straight up. I have a small business as well so I already figured mine would take a little longer than usual. I haven’t received anything from the IRS. The only thing super different is actually claiming both of my kids this year and qualifying for the EITC. For two years my daughter’s father claimed her, and I just had my son in 2019, so I’m hoping things are just held up because of these credits. Its super frustrating. I was hoping for an update today and nothing.

@MrsMedina07 i have not received a letter. The only letter I received was that I created my IRS account online, which leads me to believe there is no letter and it’s just held.

I would suggest getting a local advocate if possible, they can start cases Monday. 

570 code means a hold.

971 means a letter has been sent.

571 means freeze lifted.

For those with the 3/2 or 3/9 date that means that the IRS has to update your transcripts by then so we should see an update the next time our transcripts update which is on Thursday nights for us.

I have a 570 code with nothing after that but luckily I was able to get specific answers on the reason why mine is being reviewed. I was 250 bucks off. So I sent in my amended return already. From my understanding from the date my amended return was signed for they have 30 days from that date to resolve my issue, which is better than 60 days. My advocate will open my official case Monday and she stated that since I have done most of the steps on my own she can open the case and keep it open until my refund has been sent...hopefully sooner than 30 days but in not banking on it (no pun intended).

Call the appointment hotline, make an appointment OR google your local advocate for the IRS and although alot of the help that they can offer has beeb restricted they can provode the steps that you need to take. 

The folks on the appointment line can give you information and dont let them tell you that they can't. They can give you details on your hold. Especially of the hold wasnt lifted this week there is most likely a discrepancy even is small....remember mine was only 250.00.

If you have time google irs tax transcript codes, it helps because they will tell us anything.
