No withdrawal from checking account

Hi e-filed my taxes and received an email saying it was accepted by the IRS on March 31. They were supposed to take money directly from my checking account in a few days, but they haven't yet. What should I do to insure that my taxes have been paid properly?

Ok ... as you can imagine the IRS is busy on returns with refunds and sending out stimulus checks right now ... so those returns with balance dues are being put on the back burner since they are not due until 7/15.

If you have successfully efiled  and the DD info is correct then don't worry ... just expect the money will be taken at any time between now and 7/15 ... just don't spend it.

You should wait a little longer. You have until July 15, 2020 to pay taxes owed.
