New law about unemployment changes me from paying to receiving a refund. It will not let me amend my taxes. Should I send in a payment or not?!!!  I am not sure if I have to pay by 4/15 or the extended tax filing deadline.  I might just send them the money now.  But, that may just cause more of a mess.

You do not need to amend your return for the Unemployment Income Exclusion of up to 10,200. The IRS will make those corrections and notify you of the changes.  If the changes move your tax from owing to a refund you do not need to send in a payment.  The IRS will issue you the new refund.
