New Form Impact On Submitted Returns

My Federal and California State returns were accepted yesterday (Yay!).  Just looked to see if these new forms that that I was notified this morning about would be downloaded: Said: " You are up to date".

Question: What if these new forms affected my already submitted and accepted returns?  Would I have to make modifications and do a 1040C/540C?  Please advise.

TurboTax will notify you by email if your return needs to be corrected because of the update. In most cases, you would not have been allowed to e-file if you had an incomplete form in your tax return.
