Yes! Turbo tax told me to call first century bank, who told me to call credit Karma. who was absolutely no help. I will NEVER file turbo tax again.
I talked to Turbo tax and they had no explanation only that they could see my credit karma card was linked. But that I was probably denied, I said I didn't recieve an email saying yay or nay so now we are just stuck? Thanks Turbo tax. That's what loyalty gets you.
I reached out to TurboTax through Facebook Messenger. And they have actually been helping me and verifying I submitted the request for the refund. I will keep you updated. I’ve gotten the furthest with them so far.
I already had one too, figured that would be easier, apparently not.
@Kd35 that's awesome!
Ok lmk because this is nonsense
so what happens if our refund is over 10k?
Credit Karma will not accept the refund. I spoke to the reps today. She said the can not change that daily deposit amount to be over $10,000. More than likely it’ll go back to IRS then we will have to wait on a paper check. I’m calling IRS first thing on the morning to see if I can change my bank info. If so, I’m hoping to close that credit karma account ASAP.
it's been 14 days for me too and still now money and i have always got my refund in a week as well.
Does that only apply to refund amounts $10k and higher?
I filed on the 24th my return was accepted and everytime i check the status it says We are still processing your return we will provide you a date when we have one. The status bar isn't even available. I got the earned income credit which is an additional$1500 and $1600 worth of paid in federal withholding so that's $3600 total plus $3000 child tax credit and some few other tax breaks im getting $9452. But anyways still processing doesn't seem like a good thing after over 2 weeks of being filed. Anyone else in the same boat?
There's been a few different ppl post screen shots where they got they advance deposited to their credit Karma account 🤷🏻♂️
I wish I was one of them
And that may be true. But no deposits over $10,000 can be put into a credit karma account.
From the IRS : https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
We issue most refunds in less than 21 calendar days. However, it’s possible your tax return may require additional review and take longer. Where’s My Refund? has the most up to date information available about your refund.
It is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue refunds for some 2020 tax returns that require review including incorrect Recovery Rebate Credit amounts, or that used 2019 income to figure the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC).
Many different factors can affect the timing of your refund after we receive your return. Even though we issue most refunds in less than 21 days, it’s possible your refund may take longer. Also, remember to take into consideration the time it takes for your financial institution to post the refund to your account or for you to receive it by mail.
For the latest information on IRS refund processing during the COVID-19 pandemic, see the IRS Operations Status page.
We will contact you by mail when (or if) we need more information to process your return. If we’re still processing your return or correcting an error, neither Where’s My Refund? or our phone representatives will be able to provide you with your specific refund date. Please check Where’s My Refund? for updated information on your refund.
According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue EITC and ACTC refunds before mid-February. The IRS expects most EITC/Additional CTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by March 1, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. However, some taxpayers may see their refunds a few days earlier. Check Where’s My Refund for your personalized refund date.
Where’s My Refund? on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go mobile app remains the best way to check the status of a refund. WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 19.
No. unless Where’s My Refund? directs you to call us, our representatives will not be able to provide any additional information.
If Where’s My Refund? says that we’re still processing your return, our representatives won’t be able to give you a specific refund date.
Usually information on the most recent tax year refund we have on file for you.
