My estimated due date for return was 4/6 on turbotax, and the irs site says we apologize for the delay but thats it. I still havent gotten. is anyone else having an issue

The IRS has been severely backlogged for a long time.   Many people are getting this message.   TurboTax does not get any information after you file your tax return so no one at TT knows a specific reason why you are getting that message.   If the IRS wants any other information from you they will let you know by letter.   Meanwhile all you can do is wait patiently and watch the IRS site.   The IRS is your only source of information.

Thank you. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt just me. I was hearing some things about them being backlogged, but 4.6 was a long time ago...so i wanted to make sure i was not the only one.  if anyone else is experiencing this please...let us know. thanks guys.
