How long does it take to see a deposit for child support arrears? My child's father is past due nearly $1200 and pays by state DCS . Will his return bring him current?

@Crystal314 This is a very old thread with posts from multiple users.  We have no context for your post about something that will take 108 days.   If you are asking about child support that was seized from another parent's refund, TurboTax is not involved with that in any way, nor can TT assist with that.   You have to contact the local agency that enforces the child support order for you.

if your ex filed a joint tax return including your income, the IRS would deem that fraudulent which is a crime. Whether they would ever actually prosecute or penalize your ex is a different matter. 

to legally file a joint return in the simplest terms requires two things

1) spousal consent

2) being married on the last day of the tax year.

How do u get his tax refund ? Are u married but separated? Mine owes me $5000 and child support always says we’re enforcing well obviously they’re not enforcing too much because he hasn’t lost one **bleep** thing but makes all this good money has all these vehicles which we don’t have one, but can’t pay child support on time or at all the whole system is messed up

We are divorced and if he files in his name, ors holds it and gives it to me. As long as ors knows what state he is located in and there's an open case, they should be garnishing his taxes. The only time I didn't get anything is when he didn't file taxes. So he's either working under the table or not filing taxes. . .
