How did the IRS say?  Did you get a letter, or did you reach them by phone?

And what tax year are you referring to?  A 2019 return or a previous year return?

And is "something not right" all they said?  If so, they sure didn't narrow it down any.   "Something" is not much info.

Did the IRS want you to do anything?
